Chess Pieces Puzzle Game

Chess Pieces Puzzle Game is a grid-based logic challenge that uses the normal movement rules of chess pieces in an unusual platform-like environment. Your objective in every stage is to capture the opposing king.

Click a blue piece to select it, then choose a square to move. Rooks travel in straight lines, bishops move diagonally and the other pieces follow their familiar chess movement rules.

The twist is that pieces can fall after moving, so their final position depends on gravity as well as the selected chess move. Once a piece begins falling, it cannot be moved again until it comes to rest.

You may also move your own pieces across or onto one another when the puzzle permits it. The red king is lazy and never moves, which lets you concentrate on finding the correct route to land on it.

The first levels explain the mechanics gently, but difficulty increases quickly. Later stages require creative problem solving and careful use of each piece's special movement pattern.

The game contains around two dozen puzzle levels with satisfying visuals, sound and music. Some versions also provide classic matches against AI and separate checkmate problems requiring solutions in two, three or four moves.

Use the strengths of every chess piece, think about gravity before committing to a move and solve each board with the most efficient route to the king.
