The blocks are the key to success: every piece you place changes the puzzle in the center, and you need to keep creating complete rows or columns so the growing structure does not reach the edge of the playing area.

Choose from the shapes shown at the bottom of the screen and place them beside the blocks already in the center. You can change the orientation or form of some pieces by pressing them before placement. Try to complete a full horizontal or vertical line; when a line becomes complete, its blocks are removed and space opens for new pieces.

You cannot treat every cube as an isolated piece because the blocks build on one another. Each placement changes the available gaps and affects where later shapes can fit. Think several moves ahead and avoid creating empty spaces that are difficult to fill. If the cubes reach the end of the screen with no useful room left, the game is over.
