The escape begins inside the first room. Examine locks, codes and hidden objects, then work out how each piece of the puzzle fits together. After leaving one area, a new section of the prison introduces another challenge, so the entire escape depends on careful observation and logical thinking.

Collect every item that may help later. Some objects open doors directly, while others must be combined with clues or used in a different room. Explore the maze-like prison and avoid assuming that an ordinary object is useless.

Later stages can mix puzzle solving with hiding and shooting. Stay out of the guards' detection zones, which may be shown by red cones, and use walls or other environmental objects as cover. Weapons can sometimes be found or upgraded, giving you another way to deal with guards when stealth is not enough.

The objective is always to leave the prison, but the best method can change from one stage to another. Sometimes hiding is safest; in other situations, solving a puzzle or using a weapon may create the only available route.
