Chessboard Game brings a historical twist to classic chess by letting you lead famous figures and nations on the board. Choose a historical leader, from Julius Caesar to Abraham Lincoln, and face different starting situations that encourage you to adapt your strategy. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of your chosen side, outthink your opponent and climb the rankings as your chess skills improve.

You can compete against friends, random opponents or artificial intelligence, with global competition and Elo-style ratings used to measure progress. The historical presentation adds another layer to the familiar battle of pieces, turning each match into a contest of strategy, planning and intellectual rivalry.

For training, the game includes more than 4,000 carefully selected chess puzzles ranging from simple positions to extremely difficult tactics. A puzzle is solved only when every move in the correct sequence is played in order. Your puzzle rating rises when you solve a challenge and falls when you fail, so the system can present tactics that better match your current skill level. Practice regularly, improve your calculation and become a stronger chess player. Use the mouse to move the pieces.
