The exact rules vary between Solitaire versions. In this online version, you move playing cards and arrange them in sequence from higher values toward lower values. Traditional picture cards such as the king, queen and jack appear near the high end of the sequence, and lower numbers continue down toward the ace.

Once you complete one row or sequence, continue arranging the remaining groups. Additional cards are available at the bottom of the game and can be used when the visible layout no longer offers the move you need.

If you make a move and later realize that it was a mistake, this version allows you to undo previous steps. That makes it possible to test a different approach without immediately losing the entire game.

The computer does not allow every card to be placed anywhere. You must follow the correct ordering rules, beginning from the appropriate higher card and continuing toward the lower values. Spider Solitaire uses a related but different system that also depends on suits, colors and complete sequences.

There are many other Solitaire variations available online, on mobile devices and on computers. Standard playing cards include several suits, with each numerical value appearing once in each suit. A deck may also contain jokers, although the joker is not required in this Solitaire game.

The objective is to complete all of the required rows or sequences according to the rules shown by the game. Good planning helps you avoid blocking an important card beneath another sequence.
